Sister Sheila Woodhouse

Leading Lady

   Leading Lady Sheila S. Woodhouse is a native of Eastern Shore, VA. She is a 1976 graduate of Central High School, Painter, VA where she graduated 12th in her class. She attended Eastern Shore Community College where she graduated with an Associate's Degree.         After graduation for college, Sister Woodhouse followed her childhood desire to help the less fortunate, and began her career in Human Services. Over the years she has held numerous positions, and currently, she is the Benefits Program Supervisor, Senior for the City of Norfolk. Sister Woodhouse desires to help others shine through her job performance where she is currently employed. Over her career she has worked for Accomack County Department of Social Services, Portsmouth Department of Social Services, Newport News Department of Social Services and Hampton Department of Social Services.

       Leading Lady Woodhouse have serve with the following organizations:  Minister Wives/Minister Widows Alliance of Tidewater  (Financial Secretary), Minister Wives/Minister Widows of Virginia (Executive Board-Auditor), Tidewater Peninsula Baptist Association  (Executive Board- Recording Secretary), and Benefits Program Regional Organization (BPRO).  

       Sister Woodhouse comes from a very large family of 17 brothers and sisters.   In June 1986 she met her husband Rev. Dr. Reginald C. Woodhouse at Norfolk State University and they were married in December 1986. They have five children and 9 grandchildren.

         Leading Lady Woodhouse centers her life on the Word of God and often finds encouragement from these words spoken by Mother Teresa,  The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; do good anyway.
